About
Black Glove Ventures was founded on a simple premise: the best companies in real estate, AI, and financial infrastructure will be built by people who have operated inside these industries - not by those observing from the outside.
Our Story
Black Glove Ventures is a venture studio operating at the intersection of real estate, artificial intelligence, payments, and emerging technology. We build companies from the ground up, co-found with exceptional operators, and invest in businesses where our platform creates a genuine edge.
The studio model is intentional. Before we deploy capital into other companies, we prove our thesis by building. That means taking on the full risk of company creation - recruiting, product development, go-to-market, and early revenue - not just writing checks and attending board meetings.
Over time, the studio becomes the foundation for a broader capital platform. The companies we build generate returns, relationships, and market intelligence that compound into better investment decisions. That is the model.
What We Are Not
We are not a consulting firm. We are not an accelerator. We are not a holding company that acquires and manages businesses.
We are a capital platform in formation - one that builds companies, backs founders, and deploys capital with a long-term orientation. The distinction matters because it shapes how we engage with every company and every relationship.
How We Operate
We build companies because we understand how they work from the inside. Every investment thesis we hold has been tested against real operational experience - not just market research.
We do not follow the market. We form a view on where industries are heading, position early, and hold that position with discipline. Contrarian thinking is not a posture - it is how we find the best opportunities.
We are not optimizing for a three-year fund cycle. We are building a platform that compounds value over a decade. That means patient capital, deep relationships, and a willingness to stay involved through the hard parts.
Ideas are abundant. The ability to build, ship, hire, and scale is rare. We bring execution capacity to every company we touch - not just capital and advice.
Long-Term Ambition
The firms that have had the most durable impact in venture - Sequoia, Andreessen, Founders Fund - did not optimize for individual deals. They built platforms: networks of relationships, knowledge, and capital that compound over decades.
That is the model we are building toward. The studio is the starting point. The fund is the next layer. The multi-strategy platform is the long-term destination. We are early, and we are deliberate about that.
